Seeing Some Sevens



Week 15 February 22-28
Sunday- 12 miles at 8:16 pace
Monday- 2 miles with Lucy at 8:30 pace
Tuesday- 8 miles at 8:15 pace
Wednesday- 2 miles with Lucy at 8:21 pace
          Then 5 miles at 7:37 pace with 8 x 1 minute pick-ups/1 minute easy
Thursday- 2 miles with Lucy at 9:12 pace
          Then 3 miles at 9:07 pace
Friday- 2 miles with Lucy at 8:20 pace
          Then 4 miles at 7:52 pace
Saturday- 2 miles with Lucy at 8:36 pace
          Then 3 miles at 8:27 pace
Total miles: 45
Comments: I had a decent week of running, and a couple of my runs were in the 7 minute range. Slowly, I’m starting to get my paces back to normal. I had a good run on Sunday. At first, I was feeling a bit blah on the run and didn’t feel like working, but after a couple miles I started to feel better and didn’t let myself slack and throw in the towel. The best part of my paces getting a bit faster is how quickly my runs are over with. An 8 minute per mile run seems to go by so much faster than a 9:30 minute per mile run, even if it ends up only being a few minutes.
